I will always flock to a restaurant that claims house-made pasta on their menu. Panzano holds up to the menu claims and is the best italian restaurant in Denver. The atmosphere is energetic, some tables with a view of the kitchen or wood-fired oven, but the food coming out of that kitchen is enough to shut most people up. A word of advise…come hungry! This was not my first time at Panzano, and I admit I was disappointed when I saw a change to the menu considering that my favorite appetizer of zeppole and duck liver mousse was no longer available. I was not left disappointed for long when I started with the Crescenza flatbread with prosciutto. For an entree, the carbonara with pancetta is amazing and finishing off with a tiramisu is the perfect way to make sure you are sufficiently ready to roll out the door and head home to bed.
