I have been disappointed a time or two with seafood restaurants. From the outside, this restaurant seems a bit boring and old school. Inside, the restaurant is clean, sleek, and modern, but it is the menu that really shines. It has an impressive selection of fish and shellfish considering it is located in the landlocked city of Denver. The menu is printed daily with the freshest items that have been flown in, from Alaskan King Crab to Salmon to Halibut cheeks.
This dinner was to star lobster…it was National Lobster Day after all! And while the lobster was great (especially that they took all the meat out of the shell for me tableside), the Alaskan King Crab legs were amazing! I’ve been to Alaska, and it is hard to beat the taste of the fresh crab legs there. The plate of crab legs even came out with all meat out of the shells! Even more impressive than all this, was the Baked Alaska for dessert, set a fire right on the table. This is the perfect example of ‘don’t judge a restaurant by the exterior.’
